Celebrating Thanksgiving is a special time of the year.  It is a time where we can express how grateful we are for the blessings we have in our life and eat AMAZING food till we are ready to pop (plus the second round of turkey sandwiches, anyone?).

Most people spend Thanksgiving with their families, but we can all learn a thing or two from the show FRIENDS and celebrate with the friends in our lives too.

Each year, my friends and I celebrate the big turkey day with our families, but either the weekend before or after we come together and celebrate Friendsgiving.  This special holiday lets us celebrate being friends and all the memories we made throughout the year.  I am very lucky to have a support system and great friends, especially living away from home.  I am thankful for them every day!

Do you celebrate Friendsgiving? Let me know in the comments below or on your favorite social media site using #vintageholidays.
