Photo frames are the one decor item that I have a hard tome getting rid of. There are so many ways to give them new life:
Big Frame? Add a mirror insert and to handles and you have a serving tray
Medium Sized Frame? Pop off the back and staple on some chicken wire for easy earring storage
Small Frame? Add a small pin or nail and put it on your bedside table or sink for a wedding ring holder
You can also glue trinkets to them for easy theme changes, but the easiest reuse is simple paint! You can make any old frame fit your new space by painting it. If the frame has details, the paint usually causes them to take on a vintage feel (a bonus for me).
These frames were used to line the aisle at my wedding, but the dark color no longer suits my style. A simple coat of paint solves that problem, giving this frame new life.
How do you repurpose old photo frames or home decor to fit your new style?
